Daniel Felipe Patry, a 16-year-old Brazilian murderer notorious for murdering and sexually assaulting his neighbor Gabriel Kuhn on July 23, 2007, in Santa Catarina, Brazil, was born in 1991 and is likely dead by 2010 or later. Daniel Patry and Gabriel Kuhn’s Murder Story
Gabriel reportedly asked Daniel if he could borrow 20,000 in the virtual currency used in Tibia. Gabriel’s vow to return was accepted by Daniel.
Daniel eventually started to request the virtual cash that had been promised to him, but Gabriel chose to keep it and excommunicate him from his virtual acquaintances. This infuriated Daniel, who at 9:30 am on the day of the crime contacted his mother, Gabriel’s mother, who was in Nova Trento, and inquired as to when she would come. Knowing he would have some time, Daniel tapped on Gabriel’s door and pleaded with him to come over and make amends and sort things out. Because they were buddies and knew one another, Gabriel unlocked the door and welcomed him in. He realized it was a mistake right away.
The moment Daniel Patry locked the door behind him and latched it as well, he started brutally hitting Gabriel. Daniel hauled the screaming youngster over to a bed during this thrashing and started to viciously rape him. Daniel saw Gabriel sobbing while lying in the blood after putting his trousers back on and he started to giggle. Gabriel made a threat to expose Daniel and inform his parents about the incident when they got home. Daniel Patry took the power cord from the gaming system and tied it around Gabriel’s neck, choking him while violently beating him and splattering blood all over the covers. As he finished up, Daniel decided to conceal the corpse in a crawl space trap door in a corridor. He lifted the body but found it to be too heavy. To reduce the weight of the body by cutting off the legs, Daniel went to collect a knife from the kitchen and a saw from the garage. Gabriel regains consciousness and starts screaming and sobbing due to the extreme pain and anguish of his life mutilation. As the saws laboriously work away, only one or two saws keep from totally severing the right leg.
Daniel Patry was overjoyed and excited to see that Gabriel was still alive and still experiencing agony. He then made the call to brutally shift the saw’s angle and begin quickly and violently sawing Gabriel in half. It is hoped that Gabriel passed out from the shock. Daniel made another attempt to cram the youngster through the crawl space trapdoor, but he was still unable to get the angle quite right. Daniel, now fed up and agitated, chose to beat, bash, and carve Tibia symbols into Gabriel’s top half of his corpse. He then put the bloodied body behind the hallway trap door and the legs beside the saw in the hallway for whoever was the first to return home.
Soon after Gabriel Guillerme Kuhn’s brother arrived home and proceeded to walk in, he immediately dropped to his knees, crying for his mother and yelling for help, when some other community neighbor started to notice the body and alerted the authorities. When the police arrived, they discovered the boys’ online virtual argument in the chat and recorded it as evidence. They understood who the aggressor was and who was to blame.
Daniel Patry was arrested quickly after admitting the entire act without hesitation or regret. Police were astounded by the level of detail he provided about every move and emotion he experienced when retelling his time with Gabriel. Only after rejecting any charges of homosexuality did he become enraged and screamed. Medical examiners, on the other hand, had clear evidence that Gabriel had been sexually assaulted several times.
